Moving Forward - New Horizons in 2012

IEA is moving forward to the brighter future we are promised as the strong foundation has been laid for us to sustain, grow and succeed! And I say that with confidence and excitement. I know everyone is curious about the plans that lie ahead, so let me give you a taste.

Finding a Director

  • The foundation and presence of IEA are very well established and are deeply rooted in successful accomplishments aligning with our mission statement. Therefore, we have called to duty Board Members and Past Presidents to serve on the Search Committee - and I know their entire interest is in finding that special person that will continue our mission and charter. Craig Anderson, Terry Ghio, and Joe Hess have embraced the challenge. We are looking at having the right candidate join us the first quarter in 2012!

Membership - We need you and need to hear from you!

  • Change is good! Sometimes the manner in which change knocks at our doors may not be the most convenient - it is situational. Change brings an opportunity for introspection and transformation. And it is where we find ourselves today. IEA is re-emerging through visioning and learning to sustain current business and support new directions. It is up to us to make these things happen, to continue our membership, to keep momentum, to provide focus, and to ensure success! So, will you join me in becoming an agent of change? Many have said 'yes', I hope all do.

There is so much more I need to share in future newsletters - stay tuned!
